walk on.

Run deep

into the dark,

seek those

caverns,

go far.

Follow

the rain,

cleanse

the pain,

ask the

unimaginable,

go insane.

Laugh, cry,

breathe, doubt,

seek, believe.

Pledge no

allegiance,

march with

the dead.

No law of

obedience,

live free

instead.

Bask in

sensations,

feed desire.

Satisfy all

temptations

before

you retire.

Go on

my son,

walk on

without fear,

you're never

gonna die.

Over

hilltops fly,

on a tear,

float

through sky.

And if your

travels ever

lead you

home,

then go on

my son,

walk on.

All Things Change

We're on the verge

of something,

something bigger

than we know.

Everything

flows onward,

infinite and whole,

to the place

where all

things change.

Welcome to

the doorway,

what is on

the other side?

It's not for me

or you to say,

because our lives

are like the tide.

Ebbing

and flowing,

searching

and seeking,

continually

on the move.

Our souls are

like cocoons,

waiting to

break free,

to spread our

wings and fly.

We're on

the verge

of something,

greater than

we know,

something that

will rise above,

the ashes

of the old.

Now here's where

all things change.

Time within the

wheel eternity,

nature and mind

in harmony.

This poem was inspired from the Kan'Nal song of the same name, with a little poetic license of my own thrown in.... :)

Autumn Rebel

All the brightly

colored Autumn

pictures painted

so gloriously,

with all its drapes

of golden brown,

have now all

faded and gone.

The dead leaves

have all been raked

and carted away,

now the trees stand

stark and bare,

across the far flung

landscape everywhere.

But there is one

rebel tree that stands

out here by us,

that just can't be

bothered by

all that stuff,

of dropping its

leaves in the

hibernation bunk.

It still stands

with somber mien,

and stately trunk,

as though in

solemn prayer,

fully leaved as it

was in Summer.

Only difference now,

its leaves have

all turned brown,

but still defiantly

refusing to leave the

tree and fall down.

This rebel tree

of Autumn,

still wearing its

close fitting garb,

in these December

days of snow

and frost.
