Six Men

Sing a song of six men,

sing a song of life.

Sing a song of six men,

listen to their lives.

First, he's angry,

it's a bummer world.

He knows it's all a drag,

so he fights himself constantly,

and that is all he has.

Second isn't nearly good enough,

he is hiding in fear.

Always trying to go one better,

than all of his peers.

Third, he loves his money,

loves it more than him,

and since he doesn't gamble,

well, he never wins.

Fourth a man of knowledge,

sharp is his wit,

but that someone else know truth,

he wont hear of it.

Fifth calls himself a realist,

reality is bad.

Not think it would be better,

wont let himself be glad.

Six, he is a lonesome man,

living by himself.

He wont let a soul come near

to his private hell.

Sing a song of six men,

hung up on their strife.

Sing a song of six men,

and of wasted life.

In The Dark

So i sit here and wonder,

where did all the magic go,

and will it ever return.

So it seems i've blundered,

and i will never know,

why it had to burn.

Just have to be dancin',

keep on romancin',

another painful lesson,

waitin' to be learned.

Just gotta keep dreamin',

or i'll end up screamin'.

One more road to walk,

corners to be turned.

So i sit here just waitin',

thinkin' 'bout the sunshine,

'cause i'm sittin' in the dark.

PRRRP?

One evening in the early fall,

young Chaps, he went a wandering.

Where, oh where is Cherry blossom,

is what he was a wondering.

He found her out under the bush,

and together they touched noses.

They looked out at the world,

and the problems it poses.

Chaps struts out first, the Tom,

he wont be afraid at all,

till some kids come in his yard,

so he hides behind a wall.

Now harmless puppies are in his home!

He smells, and knows they're dogs!

Maybe babies, but out!

He leaves and roams.

Chaps the hop-along bandit,

caught a mantis on the run.

Brought it home then,

to have a little fun,

but the poor mantis had gone to sleep.

Chaps the bandit didn't weep.

He just went off in his

indifferent kitty way.

He and his Cherry,

run off to play.
