Walk On

Go on my son

walk on.

Run deep

into the dark,

seek those

caverns,

go far.

Follow

the rain,

cleanse

the pain,

ask the

unimaginable,

go insane.

Laugh, cry,

breathe, doubt,

seek, believe.

Pledge no

allegiance,

march with

the dead.

No law of

obedience,

live free

instead.

Bask in

sensations,

feed desire.

Satisfy all

temptations

before

you retire.

Go on

my son,

walk on

without fear,

you're never

gonna die.

Over

hilltops fly,

on a tear,

float

through sky.

And if your

travels ever

lead you

home,

then go on

my son,

walk on.

  1. This sounds like it was a tough write. The spiritual struggle to break free of how others bind us it what it brings to mind. Many times we just have to chart our own course. It's been my experience that when I broke with others and went the way I knew Spirit wanted me to go that many years later I found those same people finally converged upon my same path again. I'm just one of those people who is "the tip of the spear" and it takes a while for the rest of crowd to catch up. Odd how Life works out just when you think something would not, well, it does! Be fearless, my friend. It all works out well in the end.

  2. Marvelous, Dave! It's so important to live with courage, to not be afraid of life.
